Job Summary:

The Material Handler role may work in the shipping or receiving department processing inbound and outbound product. This position will be trained in all areas of the warehouse and will report to the Shift Supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Unload deliveries from truck  
• Move and stock inventory to the correct shelving location  
• Fulfill orders, pack orders, and load trucks for outbound orders  
• Pull and process orders accurately and timely  
• Restock incoming items  
• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy  
• Operate various machinery as needed including forklift and material mover
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace  
• Ability to listen, understand and follow directions  

Required & Preferred Qualifications 

• Completion of background investigation and drug screening
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required  
• Experience operating a forklift or cherry picker a plus
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; can multitask effectively and efficiently  
• Team player with customer service orientation  
• Good communication skills  
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail  
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance  
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures  
• High school diploma or equivalent  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require 8-10 hours of lifting, standing, and carrying  
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time without assistance
