Job Summary:

The Account Representative will be trained to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues with products or services, and maintain customer satisfaction levels. The expectation is to grow into an Account Manager within the allotted training period. An Account Representative will undergo extensive training and development programs to gain valuable experience in sales, customer service, product knowledge, and building relationships with clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Learn about IVS's products and demonstrate knowledge to customers
  • Assist Account Managers with order processing, payment tracking, and other administrative tasks
  • Develop new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications and sales opportunities
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Develop relationships with key customers to ensure retention and identify potential growth opportunities
  • Develop key sales tactics and strategies through shadowing and training 
  • Support Account Managers by maintaining and updating prospecting lists to help identify potential customers for growth
  • Attend team meetings, conference calls, and training programs to improve customer service skills and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and distribute customer communications and promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the company's CRM system
  • Support other departments as needed to provide exceptional service to customers


    Desired Qualifications/Skills:

    • 0-2 years of experience working in a Sales, Customer Service, or other related role 
    • Positive attitude and eager to develop 
    • Thrives in fast-paced environments; can multitask effectively and efficiently 
    • Comfortable working both independently and collaborating in a team setting 
    • Self-determined and takes initiative in creating solutions 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software  


      Physical Requirements:

      • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
      • Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally
      • Must be able to travel as needed
